Welcome to the SIMoN MPA Monitoring Map!

The SIMoN MPA Monitoring Map is a Google Maps application designed to facilitate coordination amongst investigators to understand and manage State Marine Protected Areas in the region. The map provides links to scientific findings for projects and California Department of Fish and Game site specific regulations. To use the map:

1. Select project monitoring locations by individual projects or by the categories listed at the top of the legend and click the 'Refresh Display' button.
2. The map is populated based on your selections. Select individual sites by clicking symbols on the map and follow the links to SIMoN project pages or investigator web-sites.
