Tired of just blowing bubbles? Want to make a difference? Join the ‘Great Annual Fish Count’ event this July! In concert the Reef Environmental Education Foundation’s (REEF) Great Annual Fish Count (GAFC), we invite you to get involved in this fun and educational program while actively contributing to the conservation of our marine environment.
FREEE training seminars will be offered by local experts:
- June 19 7:30-9 PM REEF Invertebrate IDs by Dr. Steve Lonhart, NOAA
- June 26 7-9 PM Basic Fish IDs by Mike Davis, PADI IDCS Instructor
- July 2 7-9 PM Basic Fish IDs by Mike Davis, PADI IDCS Instructor
On Saturday, July 13th, at 8 AM divers will meet at Lover’s Beach, Pacific Grove, to conduct both fish and invertebrate surveys. Following the dive is a BBQ.
