Juvenile White Shark Habitat Expansion to the Channel Islands Published by CINMS Scientists

The Channel Islands Research Team has published a note in the Journal of Fish Biology documenting an increase in juvenile White Shark habitat use at the Channel Islands. A number of sharks have been detected at the islands after being tagged at other locations; highlighting the importance of the sanctuary to this recovering species. The study leverages the West Coast Obs telemetry array supported the CINMS dive team to collect all the important data. The study was published in the Journal of Fish Biology and can be found here.
